Teachers & Children Ministry Workers in Vietnam

The Church in Vietnam is growing rapidly especially in rural areas and many denominations are working hard at sharing the Gospel. Many of the new believers are poor. In recent years, we have been running training programs for the youths in the rural areas in Vietnam. We are also reaching out to children within the area we are in. One of those efforts is the Sharon School. However, apart from that school, we are also running Sunday School programs for children. Over the years, we have translated many children materials, raised funds, discipled and trained key children workers for many churches in Vietnam.

2000 children

350 Sunday school teachers trained every year

11 staff/volunteers

US$1,000 monthly to run this training program

We are aiming to reach out to 2,000 children per year, train 350 children Sunday School teachers and 100 teachers per year as well as help 10 churches set up Children’s Ministries. Through the training program, we hope to make disciples out of children. We exist to honour and glorify God by partnering with parents, churches, and the community to provide Sunday school lessons to every child who can impact their world for Christ.

This Children’s Ministry was founded under Generation Ministry Vietnam by Peter and Bev van der Westhuyzen with local partners Mary Kim and John.
